The rope and the logs looked very modern to me.

I watched a bit of one episode; as soon as I saw that Eric Drummond was one of the people involved, I changed the channel.

It'll be smoke, mirrors and scripted excitement..and nothing to find.

I tried watching 2 episodes. That show is total BS. It really is an insult to one's intelligence.

Got a chain hooked to the wooden box now. Should soon know if this show's a fake.
Worse case, they break the slacks and the goodies spill out or not.
Fun show to watch with an unknown suicide, mysterious ambulance, ufo's, skinwalkers, hired investigator, spying, intruders and Aztec gold
If it's true...?

Unlike Oak Island, I see no way they can go on much longer if it is a fake.
Only reasons to not see a conclusion would be a cave in or theft.

The coin looks like a is a cast copy. You can see the sand grit surface and the coating is pealing off. Similar to that of cast silver dollars being imported from China. They have a distinct look to them and can be spotted easily by a true coin dealer.

I was waiting to see the excavator sink into the underground cave. Also, when the guys found those supposed Gold coins, they didn't seem too excited about it.

I was into the show, until they started calling some log cribbing a Mayan treasure box.
It is clearly held together with cable, you can see the clamps.
The plan is to drag it across a boulder strewn cave floor to a opening it wont fit through??
Why not just look inside the box???
did I miss something??
