Does anyone know what this lens came off of? It has to be ornamental I'd think. Blue is not a color for car lights, airplanes, or boats that I know of. Gary

I was thinking some type of insulator also. Is there a channel over the top? Where found?

This is a pic from a bicycle forum. They thought it had something to do with bikes. I don't think so. I don't know any details. It looked to me like the groove possibly had a wire bail but not sure. Thanks for the look. Gary

Well, it's a weird shape for an insulator. It has a profile that looks like it could mount on a fender. Maybe the groove has to do with how it mounts to a bike fender?

Almost looks like a cab light from a semi but when you said it's glass I think that eliminates that idea.

Nope. The angled base is what makes it different. If they used blue on boats, that's probably what it was from. It is definitely glass. Gary

Then it would be a starboard light.

There were stern ones as well.
