We enjoy the bluebirds to return every Spring. If you make some wood houses for them they prefer a 1 1/2 inch opening
Thanks for posting Bill. My wife is the Bluebird lady. They love her. But I think they love her for her meal worms. Believe it or not last year we had three different hatching in same house. Always they do two.

Beautiful bird, Bill. :occasion14:

We don't have those here, but we do get a number of Stellar Jays this
time of year. The males will pick out a roof vent, and then hammer on it
with their beak hoping to draw a female. Inside the house, it sounds like
a drummer with lousy rhythm.. :BangHead:

Took the frame off it..

Thank You again for fixing the picture
The bluebirds seem to come here every year now since I started making the wood houses.
For some reason the blue jays are very active here in the fall and their chirps are very loud
Thanks and take care

Beautiful birds. We have 4 nesting boxes on our property and currently three are in use. This is the second brood of the season.
Congratulations on your bluebird success the nest here is getting a lot of activity lately with the first brood I think.
Some say to clean the boxes between broods but I haven’t do you
Thanks and take care
Bill

Great pic! We don't have those either! I'm so jealous! We have plenty of bluejays and when the younguns start following the adults they create quite the racket! I hope your bluebirds sound as pretty as they look!
