it does have a nice pontil doesn't it?...given the context of bottle #2 I would really give this one some thought.

Also considering that its blown,repo bottles are almost always molded.Pontil rods were either wood or iron.Any black on the pontil means a iron pontil rod was used,though the black can flake off.I have a set of 5 blown whiskey glasses,some have the black on the pontil,some dont.

I suggest getting a professional opinion on this one. Based on the shape and the top, to me it looks like late 1600's to very early 1700's. Pictures look like the real deal, but it could just be a cheap bottle made much later than that.
