Finally had an outing worth posting about this year. Been a slow start to say the least with my first worthy finds only coming yesterday.

All the finds are brought to you by the letter B.

Started my morning with the third target being my first Ag this year. It was a relief to find this 1962 dime.

And who wouldn’t like to follow that up with a little alphabet? Looks like Betty lost her necklace charm 😁

Rounded out my three silver hunt with silver by the skin of my teeth. If my research is correct, only 28% of dimes struck in 1968 were silver (70M of 242M) so it was a nice surprise to pop this one. It’s had a rough go but finds a nice home with me.

Ground is getting pretty dry and hard, hands were killing me and had to quit after 3 hours of hunting. Didn’t realize how much I had dug until taking the group finds pic. Not pictured is the junk/tabs.

Yep. It’s not easy to see but definitely says 925 on the back.

Got out to the same place today and was skunked on silver. Among the finds were two quarters and one dime from 1968 and none were silver 😕. Think I might be done land hunting until fall. Too dry now.

How about you? Are you finding time to get out between trips?
