Messed around again today with the nox 800 when I had a chance from working and found a few keepers. Nothing super spectacular today but the best of the bunch was some old knee buckles, a decent 1861 Nova Scotia one cent and two earrings. Unfortunately the backs let go but I did find one and it turned out to be sterling silver. I’ll recheck next time I’m there to make sure the other one isn’t kicking around somewhere near where I dig them. Thanks for looking! 😁👍

Very nice, congrats!! That cent cleaned up well, what method did you use?
Just sat it on a shelf until it completely dried and most of the crust easily flaked off. The little that didn’t I gently used a toothpick on. I got lucky this time! Haha

You're getting to know the equinox a little better it seems and your sites are still giving up the goods!
We are hoping to get things rolling this coming week and get some relics on the board. Keep the inspiration coming and good luck out there!

Well done the hunt, bit of everything which makes it in the end.
Noticed the V in Nova is gone almost in the 1861

Nice old relics, and of course a great coin. The buckle with the hinges for the chape on the short side is a knee buckle, I think, rather than a shoe buckle. Very old.
