bullet or just junk?

While using the falcon a few days back in got a hit on this object. It looks to be made out of brass (?) It is a two piece design and the one end looks like someone may have bit into it. The end is smooth with no primer. I am definitely stumped. Here are a few pics.

Looks like a lipstick tube.

It probably is, I just can't find any marking on the case. I guess it will end up with the rest of my collection.

I think Duggap is right. What are the dimensions?

2 inches long or so. Maybe 1.5 round.

Yes lipstick tube. Look at the flat end real close with a magnifying glass. You should see some writing.
