Anyone used the coil cable clips that are sold on Etsy? Worth while?
I use 'Bongo Ties', then wrap the shaft with co-adhesive camo tape. This tape gets too sticky has to be replaced after a few months detecting. The Bongo Ties use natural rubber and it too wears hard in the dry sun or big weather changes. But... I do like how this works for me. Attached is a picture of how this worked on my Simplex. I now use the EQ 800 and the same type of wrapping.
