on what this may be? It is sandstone mainly, the rounded portion fits into the bowl shaped portion a perfect fit, the indented line runs on exactly the same place on the round head shaped spot and the bowl shaped spot. It was found in Little Rock Arkansas near a creek in a wooded area, any info about what I have or where I might find out anything is appreciated.

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard MDNAME! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

I moved ya from GENERAL DISCUSSION over to WHAT IS IT? for more exposure.

I live in se Kansas and there’s a spot where the sandstone does similar things, it’s just the way the layers have formed could be something like a burrow or a fish nest or a foot print something to cause a bowl shaped layer that was later filled with the next layer and now the rock has separated along that division
