Chalcedony with what appears to be some sandrox *pretty sure I spelt it wrong, someone will set me right* in the brown areas. Certain formations of this material can yield fire agate.

I agree with DDancer and stdenis jd, looks just like fire agate I have seen from California.

I'd say fire agate, yay I'm learning to notice fire agate =D I replied to a couple posts with a similar look to your rock, there more new, go check them out to compare =)

Near Wickenburg Az..there's a bunch of it in an area I came across out hiking/exploring.
