Canales from Colonial Casas Grandes Chihuahua

I got these at an estate sale in Chihuahua. I had tried to buy them before but the owner wouldn't sell, he wanted them as he was restoring the colonial part of the town. Canales are channels to drain water off the roof of adobe houses. These are hand carved out of ??? sandstone type stone

Nice find there, Doug. Is that Sandstone or possibly volcanic pumice?
