Finds of the day! Previously visited this site multiple times. Old homesite loaded with iron. This time I used the 6” coil. What a difference this coil made.

Awesome stuff. I love using the smaller coil after hunting a site multiple times. It’s always fun to see what it can uncover once the finds lessen. Nice job

Thanks! That was my first time using a smaller coil. I’ll be visiting some more old sites of mine to see what else I missed.

Those standing liberty coins are usually more worn than yours. Nice find. Of course, the copper is too. I wonder why the small coil works better for this site? Does it snipe among junk better?
The smaller coils separate through the iron much better.

Fantastic finds - a Flying Eagle and a SLQ - Wow ! :occasion14:

I used a 6" EQ2 coil on my E-Trac non-stop for over 5 years - lot's of 7"+ Dimes and countless great finds.
The small coils offer much better separation, great in overgrown areas and tight spots and are easy to swing .
