Finds of the day! Previously visited this site multiple times. Old homesite loaded with iron. This time I used the 6” coil. What a difference this coil made.
Awesome stuff. I love using the smaller coil after hunting a site multiple times. It’s always fun to see what it can uncover once the finds lessen. Nice job

Thanks! That was my first time using a smaller coil. I’ll be visiting some more old sites of mine to see what else I missed.

Those standing liberty coins are usually more worn than yours. Nice find. Of course, the copper is too. I wonder why the small coil works better for this site? Does it snipe among junk better?
The smaller coils separate through the iron much better.
