I’m not saying ur incorrect but it was found by me with other artifacts that came from deep in The ground I would be glad to show you some of the other things found along with it if you would like and it along side the other artifacts may make you then question if it is natural as u believe. Let me know ☺️

No signs of being worked by man though, so natural rock.

If you look carefully at your rock you can see that the features you are seeing are actually part of the crystal structure on how the rock was formed and weathered/broke. Sorry but it does not appear to be an artifact.

Natural stone, I and I'm sure others have found natural stones mixed in or around artifacts. Definitely post some pictures of the artifacts.

Welcome to TreasureNet. Sorry, as others have stated, it is a natural stone, not an effigy., not modified or carved by man.

Yes of course.
Post the other relics for context and material.

What part of your posted picture do you believe was altered by man? And how?

That one large fracture which resulted in the appearance of a forehead, nose and mouth is the thing to look at. That material seems brittle, so it’s doesn’t seem like it would’ve been carved or shaped by another type of rock tool. Just broke and came out that way. Maybe was material they liked so it was with the other finds. The eye doesn’t look drilled, just a natural hollow that looks to have been exposed during the altering, wether completely natural or messed with a bit. I can see why the flat side might seem compelling but the type of work done there would have to be explained, if work was done.

Im new to all this had a theory of where to look the pic at bottom is another stone I found with it on the face I ? the perfect placements of the features and the actual carved looking line running from under the nose past the eye that gives a high cheekbone yes I see in the other picture of a face commented above how nature caused that or it was an artist still practicing …the perfect placement of features that makes me think this stone had some help?.. here?s another find I found along with the carved stone face is it just a natural occurrence to ???? I?ll try to get some pics taken to show I just don?t have a lot of time between work and kids
