New Jersey....
what size is it ? Most of the challenge coins I have are the size of a half dollar or so, my last command made them bigger than a silver dollar which was a little extreme, lol... either way, it's a kewl find!!!!

You may want to check and see if that unit has a forum or something: You may even be able to find out who owned it, if they lived near where it was found.

It gives a complete history of the Unit. Including the period 1950 to1951 that it served in Korea during that Police Action (War)
The Buffalo is from the nick name of Its Commanding Officer at that time
Col. William W. (Buffalo Bill) Quinn. The Unit was formed in 1812 thus the date.
The Forts is representations of the 5th Army Corp. badge in Cuba in 1898.
This is a coin usually given or purchased at reunions. The Cross is from the 5th During the Civil War.
Great Find.
