First ring I've found, lol. Looks like white gold but it doesn't weigh enough (3g), maybe it's hollow or just plated. Solder at stones is badly corroded, whole ring was covered with some kind of reddish brown hard/brittle mineral deposit I scraped off with fingernail. Guessing it was buried for a long time, Ventura county.

Corrosion is probably due to some metals interaction with the soil.

Any way you slice it it's still a ring, and if you can find that one you can find others that will be real gold. Welcome to the site.. :hello:
