Hello! This is my first post here.

So recently I was helping my mother buy a used RV from a resale lot somewhere on the Georgia/Tennessee state line. We'd been to so many places that day I honestly can't remember everywhere we went I can't remember the name of the place I got these rocks but the parking lot was littered with colorful pieces Chert and Agate! Along with some other unidentified unique rocks and what I think is pink Dolomite. Of course, me being the rock hound I am I couldn't help but grab a few. Of all places to find interesting rocks a parking lot is not what springs to mind usually! :laughing7:

nice, was it being used as driveway gravel or landscape mulch? my brother in law in Minnesota finds lake superior agates in his gravel driveway.

I stopped at a donut shop on I-75 near Chattanooga and found some good knapping stone in their flower bed. Also stopped at a gas station on Crowley's Ridge in AR and found more knapping stone in their landscaping. I took some, but wasn't a pig.:laughing7: Gary
