You can google something like "dating Chinese cash coins" and get a match and date it. Most found in the US are 18th and 19th century.

You guys are likely right and good advice by smokey, but if you do not find it there try some older Vietnamese coins. Just in case cannot match with Chinese. Remember we do have a bit of a connection to Vietnam and their older coins very similar to Chinese, I think.
