CIVAL WAR BULLET OR NOT (FIRST ONE IF IT IS) LOOKS LIKE 2 RINGER GARDNER? weight is .53oz if my scale is correct. Any and all help appreciated.

232 grains weight (a more common measurement unit of bullet weight). Also having the diameter would help ID. With that hollow base, it looks old. Guess about .45 caliber. Someone more expert than I on bullets of that era can probably ID it accurately.

thanks for the info, it wasn't as white as most i see dig up, but maybe sometime there not, im unsure

I'm not gonna say it's not a CW bullet, but I will say it's not a Gardner. There are several Gardners in the bottom row of this picture that I dug in WV.
