I found a lot of items at a civil war camp site, which I posted on Today's Finds, and had this piece. I think it is brass. Another member, Damnails, had found one at a camp site as well and suggested posting it here. Any idea's? Thanks.

Taz is right. That is a brass trigger assembly from an Enfield Musket. I have been restoring some of my relics this past week and just finished cleaning on this same piece and finished it up just yesterday. That is a very nice find. Congrat's to you on a nice piece of History.
