Coil connector moves in at pro. Is my detector still waterproof?

I plan to hit some lakes with it tomorrow so I need to know.


I was attaching a new coil to it and noticed that the coil connector easily moved around. I did tighten it up. Is that enough?
It should be tight. Check the o'ring to make sure it is there and not damaged. I have to push mine in fairly hard to get it to seat even with it greased with silicon grease.

No I mean the connector that goes inside the control box moves slightly..

Oh you mean the end on the unit itself. I wouldn't trust it getting wet. It's bound to leak. Rain might not but submerging it would be a risk.

So opened the box and super glued both connectors on the inside, the phone and the coil plug.

Now its surely sealed ��
