I think he is saying the resistance across pins 1 and 4 will read 4.4 ohms. 19 ohms across pins 2 and 3. I think.....
Which is good, if you know what the resistance across the pins (coil) SHOULD be, you can check it, thus ruling out coil problems.

All true.
For example. My friend refused coil ACE-250.On checked the resistance between .1 and 4 pins will read 4.4 ohms. 38 ohms across pins 2 and 3.
This shows that one coil winding not serviceable,

Its just a standard 5 pin din plug used for multiple things. In this case 4 wires in the cable and pin 5 is not used. Or it may be the shield in the cable on 5.

I just tested the coil resistance of my Garett ace 150. I get 3.6 ohms between pins 1-3and 103 ohms between pins 2-4. The latter seems a little high. Could this be a bad coil?
