coin or trash?

I got this. I'm not sure if it is anything or just garbage. However, it was wrapped up in a baggie and taped shut. Sorry the pictures aren't so great; I left it in the baggie just in case.

Looks like a cast reproduction or a fantasy piece, I don't think it's a real coin.

It's stamped copy on the upper left side of the shield. That said, It's not trash; you might be able to sell it for a dollar or two to somebody as a novelty piece.

I had one similar that was a copy. You should be able to see seams on the edge of the coin. I sold mine to a coin dealer for $5.00

Exactly, you can see the word "copy" if you look close enough like you said, top left side of the shield. I'd just add it to a "junk drawer lot".
