Today I went out to a completely new location. Overgrown and abandoned fields. A site were it seems nature has taken it all back after humans working it for centuries. Ruined stone walls and some foundations overgrown with moss. Still - we hardly found any relics. I got a can signal. It was a trashy 85 on my AT-Pro. I thought it would be a flattened cola can or something. I put one tiny shovel in the ground and out popped several white silver coins. I screamed of joy! :)

Norwegian 50 öre 1877 silver
Swedish 1 krona 1914 silver
Danish 1 krone 1875 silver
some swedish bronze coins from late 1800s and early 1900s :) (1, 2 and 5 öre).

Well done on the purse recovery.
The 1914 looks in great condition.

Finding a purse of coins is exciting in itself, but to find a purse full of foreign coins adds to the intrigue…and silver is a nice bonus! It was probably a good thing you weren’t getting a ton of signals so digging a trashy signal is better than no signals …and it was worth it! Congratulations!
