Do you work in a gold mine? Looks awesome
I may as well be employed at this mine. I've been supplying all the mines ground support, pumps, rockdrills, safety gear and hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise. Its an old gold mine being re-developed to produce more tons with today's modern mining equipment and methods. I've been spending many hours trying to keep up with this operation. We got a heck of a working relationship. I was out last Sunday heading to western Colorado to pickup more roof bolts so I could be back with them Monday so they can keep on driving two large drifts. It's absolutely blown and go'n and I thought I was ready to start slowly down at my age, but with this boom going on with the demands of gold, silver and a verity of other elements things are really rocking. I was rather depressed over the course of the slow and steady in the last decade, but not I'm having a rush with the demands put upon me. Sure hope it doesn't kill me but I'm feeling like I did bust'n ass in the mines when I was in my twenties. Only difference is these days from then is I don't need to shut down with a Sixpack of beer to get some rest. I just zonk out and hit the sack. Plus I can wake up before sun up without that hangover needing massive amounts of coffee. Still hot coffee is a must even today. This here is a layout of how the mine method was over a hundred years ago. Since the late 1980s I've dealt with others who have estimated the cost and proposed to go after this rich deposit, but the fella who owen the claim was unwilling to agree to any of the term the developers wanted. He has since died and with all the debt he incurred the family just stepped aside and let the big money boys take control.
