Very nice! At least I am not the only one finding spoons. I seem to find them all the time....

Wow! Would love to find one, Very nice.

Beautiful buckle there G!! And a IH to boot.. CONGRATS.. HH

The date is about right but its not really classed as a 'Spectacle' Buckle as they are 'rounded' ends. Great find though!

Ya I found a match in the spectacle chapter but not sure if there's a proper name?

Good find :thumbsup:as Cru says a double looped buckle, Trapezodial type that actually do date back to Medieval times, although yours is 1600's plus, and would have proberbly been of Miltary use..good one

Nice finds! Thanks for posting and Congratulations on your recoveries. If your Whites turns on and operates it is good for coins! One of the old Whites detectors I had was one of my favorites of all time!
