Trying to find out an age of this gold ring I found detecting at colonial farm in Central Virginia First place I went to tested it at 18k then I finally was able to get it XRF tested and photo shows metal breakdown they said 14k with silver and copper too(see percentages) . Based on the alloys and the design can any expert identify age ? It could be as old as 1600s thru 1800s I believe. No marking on inside..

What a beautiful ring, congratulations.
Probably your best bet is to get a knowledgeable jeweler or estate jeweler to have a look.
It could be from overseas and lost here.
Has that old world look to it for sure.

I need to move to the east coast... or the west coast of the same body of water. That's a beautiful find. I appreciate your efforts in getting it looked at and the breakdown of the metalergy. Congratulations.

I was looking at examples on this site 1stdibs and there are a few examples of rings they list as 17th, 18th and 19th century. https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/rings/band-rings/antique-17th-century-gold-posy-ring/id-j_2384363/
The one I did find that was 14k and kinda has a deeper engraved pattern like yours was this example and they list it as Art Deco. which I don't agree on, but the use of the term art deco is often used to catch ones attention in an online search. The gold ring examples listed as 200 plus years look different than what you have, so my guess and it's just a guess is your ring would be from around the last quarter of the 19th century. Seem to me after the 19th and on to today the fineness of 14k gold was the most dominant purity in gold jewelry because of its preferred durability and hardness which holds up better than higher karat gold over time.
