I'm curious as to what the back looks like and what it may have been affixed to? :icon_scratch:

Possibly a representation of King Tut? :dontknow:

One of the most fascinating things about Ancient Egypt is the detailed stories of its long history. Although lots of stories have survived through the course of human history, it is often left up to scholars and scientists to decipher which of these stories are true. The world had long been aware of rumours of a Boy King in the history of Ancient Egypt, but it was the discovery of King Tut’s tomb in 1922 that solidified the reality of a child taking control of one of the world’s great empires and civilizations.

Maybe the remains of a brooch that had stones in the holes.

Do a Google image search on "King Tut brooch". You'll see hundreds of different examples.

Hi all, looking for some help determining what this medallion is or what it’s used for. Pictures are front and back
Egyptian revival appliqué for a piece of furniture or similar, 1920s or so.
