Not yet they always wait until Easter. It also depends on the rain fall. Last 2 years they havenāt even sprayed just planted cause of the rain. Iām hoping it dries out around Easter so they will at least disc.Nice are they plowing your area? Wanting to get out bad.
These were field finds. Iāve yet to find any chert larger than a 50 cent piece in the fields. While yakking a few years ago I saw a beautiful black nodule growing out of some limestone but the water was to deep to get it. Might be where they got the material from. Iām sure they were excellent swimmersIāve read there was good knapping stone in NW GA in the past. Iāve never hunted there. After seeing some of the material in your posts I believe it.
If you have access to nodules of these different materials you should consider learning how to process it and sell it to modern knappers. Thereās a huge demand and limited supply. $$$$
