I never thought I’d ever find anything like this! I am so truly thankful and grateful.

I got a 20-30 signal on my minelab equinox 800. It sounded wayyy to good to be true. I figured it was going to be another can lid, or piece of sheet metal. But it was 15 feet from where the eagle breast plate was uncovered. I dug the hole not expecting to find anything. Just enjoying the moment of being alive and being in the beautiful great outdoors. I flipped the plug and saw a small green rectangle leaching out into the surrounding dirt. I wiped off some of the dirt and saw three hooks and immediately knew what it was from my countless days of fantasizing about finding one through other peoples post, and history books. I don’t cuss, but in that moment I let a ton slip. I fell back to the grass and could breathe. My fiancé and best friend left their holes to see what I was freaking out about. All I could say was “I found a cs buckle” over and over.

I will never forget the countless hugs, cheers, fist bumps, and high-fives we shared. The smiles on our faces and just truly living in the moment.

Keep digging holes. They are out there! I hope and pray you all find one if it is your goal. Here is a bit of my luck to carry you forward. (Only detect permissions and don’t poach or give us a bad name by leaving a mess. Takes the fun away from everyone else who tries their hardest to do it right.)

Anyways, I will keep you updated on what else gets pulled. This is virgin ground and there are thousands of signals that we will be digging over the next year or so!

God bless.

Man that is a dream dig for sure. I know three people who have found a CS buckles and all of them talk about the disbelief when it pops out of the hole.
