River Rat posted that April and I are donating a beef bundle, just wanted to let ya know what was in it.Also it will be fozen solid in a cooler with some dry ice so traveling far shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep it in dry ice.
All of it is 100 percent Black Angus Kansas beef :)
10#'s of Hambuger
12 minute steaks (great for fajitas)
4 KC strips
4 Ribeye's (nice thick one's)
2 5# Roast
Retail value of about 150 bucks but good eats is PRICELESS lol--see you guys in Caldwell

There I was........ looking for a beautiful weekend, fresh batteries in all the detectors, shovel sharp enough to shave with, gas in the truck, new oil change, fresh front tires, 4 days away from home and somebody has to look at the blasted weather forecast.

Thanks a lot skippy. What other pleasant news do you have to share? Lightning? Hail the size of eggplants? The plague? Locusts? Maybe a good old fashioned dust storm? Give me a break. How about we order 75 degrees, a light breeze and plenty of sunshine?

I am glad you got a new coat, couldn't you wait until November to see if it was warm?

I guess I better pack a little heavier coat than I was planning too.

Can't wait to see you too Rick!

HI BOB!

Okay, if high is 59 + 12 mph winds = COLD...Sounds like thermal wear will be needed. I will be prepared!

Like I tell a couple of my Car show friends that freeak out about the weather all the time, 5 or 6 days out here in south central Kansas is a coin toss. A report I just looked at says 64 deg. and 8 mph winds.

My packing list has changed, jeans instead of shorts, probably would have worn jeans any way, coffee instead of ice water for the morning, cool enough to wear a black shirt and jacket, (It helps), maybe bring a couple weights of coats just in case.

Bring it on, only lightning will keep me in the truck. LOL. NONE PREDICTED.

At least no rain or snow is predicated, and if the wind stays under40 we might make it!!
