Can't hardly wait myself. Heading for Caldwell after work on Thursday. I will be at the Caldwell motel with Greg, Mark and Christie.

I'm ready. I bought my Manly Footwear today. Now, if my feet will just get broke in! Judie, where will the "meetin'" place be at night? I'll be bringing a 5 string bass if anyone can play it... even if no one can, I'll be picking it up on the way out so SOMEBODY better be able to play it! My girlfriend and I will hit town probably on the 3rd. That'll give us a chance to look around. She don't hunt. See you and everyone there on the 5th. My first gig! I'm excited! TTC

Don't know how late we can stay @ the fair building, I know we will be there later on Saturday night. Back @ Motel 6 many would pull up their camp chairs & drink a few & just shoot the breeze. Only bad thing Larry, Tom, Mel, & Darrell won't be there, but there will be plenty of others.

Went by the Motel 6 last night on my over here to Missouri. I have never seen so many cars and trucks there except during a winter storm. We were in Alva OK 2 weeks ago and the hotel parking lots were full there, they are building 2 new hotels there and Anthony KS has a new one going up. They weren't kidding about the oil workers being in the area.

Will be home tomorrow see you Friday.

We knew about these oil workers way back in June...I'm glad I made my reservations then. I just called to confirm so I'm good to go. Can't leave a day early to arrive on Thursday, I understand no rooms for Thursday night, not even @ Blackwell, unless I want to stay in Ponca City as someone else is having to do. So, if you didn't make your reservations early, you might have to stay in a tent or far away. Not sure about Wellington or Arkansas City.

After seeing the forcasted low temps I think I'll camp in my truck, at least it has a heater I can fire up. The tent I borrowed has more screen than canvas. I have seen it as low as 39 degrees.

Looks like Watercolor (Mark) has made it to Gypsies place....I will be there tomorrow morning early and the three of us will try to clean up some country side.....lol. Leaving for Caldwell on Thursday morning.....see everybody there....happy trails

got my stuff packed and double checked my reservation at motel 6. counting down the hours till i head out early Friday morning only a 6 hour ish drive so should be there around noon or 1ish..

I just noticed that it is Wednesday already. I guess I better pack tonight since I am leaving after work on Thursday. Talked to Greg earlier in the day. Him and Mark are looting the hills of Christies place of all available bullets, coins and other such desireable finds. Yes, I am jealous.
