I watch this show for laughs. A band of weirdos chasing mythical gold, wasting their lives. Bad acting, incredibly stupid and fake, it's just sad watching aged losers spend untold amounts of time and money pursuing a myth. In a sane culture they'd be getting therapy, they wouldn't be on TV, but in America, anything goes.

If you want to see real people mining real jade, in the mountains of BC, watch Jade Fever.

Want some drama? Now's your chance to speak to Daryl Friesen in person on the radio tonight at 7PM EST! You can ask him why he staked that claim while being a guest? You can ask him why they only found one large flake of gold in the pan in Spindle Canyon, but no fines at all?

GoldRadioTalk:Gold Prospecting Radio Show about Gold

Why not just ask me now I am right here. The fines that were in the pan were tiny hardly see with your eye . The Shot as as quick as it was in reality as it ended up edited. I was not shooting the shot I was just in it. I have nothing to do with the editing process at all. I am like you a prospector who wanted to be involved because the legend is a passion of mine.. Well, I watched it and didn't care for it.
Just nothing happening that was all that interesting.
Why is it that somebody returns to a saloon after being
In the mountains for awhile, (or maybe Bermuda), and
he spins a story about a gold mine. Then he dies or
disappears leaving one nugget on the bar. Along comes
someone who can sell the story to a station like Animal
Planet and we have a dull, poorly written show that could
have been exciting if they had thrown in some Grizzly
attacks and maybe a campfire amputation due to
severe frostbite. Then maybe I would have watched
chapter 2.

The actual legend of the lost mine deserves to get way more attention then it did as there are so many more prospectors and so much more to it then a indian guy bringing nuggets into town.. You can have a listen to the following.. Its a interview I did with one Stuart Brown.. He doesnt make it in the show and he took gold in 1974.. Have a listen. Do you think Stu speaks truth?

You can also watch the following video and see that we are actually real gold prospectors and treasure hunters. I have been around for a few years now. You can watch the following vid if you want to learn more about some our other quests before Curse of the frozen gold.

Think there is any gold left here waiting to be found? I know that I do.
