Hi
I found this furniture piece, or some kind of jewelry? Back in the spring. It's copper or tin.
Any ideals on a date?

This relic may have come from any number of things. As you mentioned, furniture decoration or possibly even part of a late-Georgian or Victorian Period sash buckle. :icon_scratch: Sash buckles and pins were mostly worn most in the Victorian and Edwardian Periods. This photo shows a lady wearing a buckle at her waist in the same position a sash pin would be worn.

Antiques and Jewelry are terms used to describe items that are over 100 years old. They are often considered collectible items because of their value and rarity. Antiques can be very valuable, but they also have an appeal that is hard to explain. Some people collect antiques simply because they like them, while others do it because they think that the items will increase in value. Antiques can be valuable objects that are worth thousands of dollars or they can be simple trinkets that cost a few dollars. Antique items can also be worth far less than what people think they are worth. It is important to understand the true value of antiques and jewelry before you buy them so that you don't get taken advantage of by someone who wants to sell them for more money than they really are worth.
