Deus 2 updater

Just received my Deus 2. Went to the XP website and downloaded the updater and got this message (object reference not set to an instance of an object) The updater did not start. Any similar experience? Thanks

It's a visual studio error, do you have multiple users on your computer? Try run it from another user in case your visual studio runtimes are messed up in that user profile. Also, try run it as administrator, as in right click on it and run as admin on the XP updater tool.

You can download and install the latest visual studio runtime here if all else fails, just pick the one that suits, for most it's the x64 verson. You could also install the 2013 version in case their update tool was made using older software.
