My Mac as the same issue with uploads. I have to edit each picture by crop and making it smaller. Then it uploads with no problem.

Not trying to bust your balls, just sometimes we're on our phone at our son's graduation or at Easter Service or at our daughter's piano recital and we can't get away with watching the whole video.
