Had a friend pull an 1856 $1 gold out of a pounded area today because she dug a 10/11 VDI. This location has been pounded by Deus 1, equinox, CTX, and etrac. I bet I left it behind multiple times.

I know what you mean about the low conductor numbers. Can you post a pic?

This might upset some equinox users, but I have any VDI’s under 8 notched out…. I think that might help

Nice one!
The real low ones are tricky, and as we age we get selective.
Newbie luck is the best though-totally un-jaded when it comes to digging.

She's been doing it 20 years, 70 years young. Her first gold coin!

What mode was she in? Park, Field, 1 or 2? Couple of weeks ago I dug my first and only gold coin, a 10$ coin. In Field 2, and 21-20 VDI. Thought I was digging another dropped musket ball.
