Back in the Late 60's Early 70's, Probably on PBS.
Back then We only had the 3 Networks & PBS Via Antenna .

I think it aired Sunday mornings

I believe it was Considered an Experiment.

They would put a Person in a Cube (I Don't think they Drugged Them)
there was no door & all space looked Alike .

They were Supposedly Filmed Over a Long Period of time
to see there ability to handle it.

they may have snuck food and water in through a trap door when they would sleep
This part I am Unsure of. That part may be from a Movie.

This was Not a Movie. Not sure it was weekly, Not even sure it was only one episode Rerun
when they needed to replace something.
I am fairly sure I'd always Fell asleep Before it Ended

PBS didn't begin until Nov. of 1969 so most likely your show was aired on another channel if you saw it in the '60s.
Only show that comes to mind was "The $64,000 Question". But that, of course, was a quiz show not an experiment in human behavior.
