The best thing to do as with any detector purchase is to directly call the TNET supporting vendors, talk to a human being and ask them for their “best offer” and then purchase from the guy with the best “best offer”, the online advertised price is the “minimum” the manufacturer allows to be advertised so they are all going to look the same on the web pages. You need to do the extra leg work (phone calls, establish a customer-vendor repeat business relationship based on mutual trust, etc.) and be patient and you can wrangle some great deals.

Works best outside of the feeding frenzy that is a new detector release.

Also ask about manufacturer discounts and specials and vendor package deals. For example, ML used to run a continuous 15% veterans discount with any new detector purchase.

Deal are their.

I’d try local dealer because you are supporting your community and can sometimes get a good deal because we all know they have to compete with the Internet and that is hard for them. I got mine that way and it for me was worth it.
if you don’t support your local dealers they won’t be there.
i had drive 45 miles to get there but it was a nice sunny day. On my way home I stopped and a park( never been their before assembled it then got a war nickel and a Rosie in 15 min. Lol . So you never know. Some dealers may do you good and others may not.
Sometime they throw in goodies.

Just wondering if anyone has found it for less anywhere

I got my Equinox 600 with my military discount for $550.00 from Fort Bedford Detectors (They are here on Tnet). I purchased a set of low latency headphones off Amazon which automatically and wirelessly connect to your Equinox, nothing else needed. So all in under $600.

If you think about it when you buy the 800 you get the headphones ($150 or so. Then you get the MW08 $$ your getting closer to the cost of the 800 if you buy them for the 600.
