lead fishing weights
they are worth money - either as scrap lead
but more as what they are
you do the math
Bass Pro Shops® Bank Lead Sinkers | Bass Pro Shops
I found 87 between sunday and monday - i have about 150 for the yr (lost count for my total)
they range from 1/2 oz to 8oz - most being 2oz to 4oz
I have save a ton of them over the years -
but yrs ago when I bought my house I had a tag sale/ yard sale and put piles of them out
guys will pay around 25c each and more for the real big ones
all adds up
I met guys that throw them away - I tell them - save them for me

Casper, not hard to get $1 per pound of lead from bullet casters.

I wish you luck.

Casper,I like you pick up tons of fishing weights at the beach.I took a 5 gallon bucket acouple of weeks ago to a local bait shop,I had 100 LBS.Been saveing them for years.

plus - lead is a good sign that no one has been at that spot in a while - unless guys are throwing them back
I have gotten gold many times amongst the sinkers in the past

I've got about 60 myself from various beaches. Priced them online by size and they sell from 2$ each on up.
