E thing

Can someone find the post where people have tried and have had it solved what the round disc coin shaped things with an "E" on them are, I tried quite a few different search phrases and couldn't find any of the posts, I can't remember what it was determined that they were and a friend found one and I want to let him know what it is. Thank you in advance.

Yeah that is what I thought but I wanted to link the post to him and no matter what I put relating to the letter "E" or what is this disc with an "E" on it. I still couldn't find the post.
