Finally the farmer cut his soy, lol. The wait has paid off! This field gave up some nice colonial coins, buttons and early US silver. KG II’s, KG III’s, Seated Dime, Liberty Cap, Draped Bust, and the toasty coin variety. Take notice of the small silver button/cuff link with initials on the backside. It actually looks like a half reale converted to a button/cuff link (octagon shaped). Without a doubt it has incredible character. 6 of the 8 coppers cleaned up well. Repeat visits will be in order.

Finally the farmer cut his soy, lol. The wait has paid off! This field gave up some nice colonial coins, buttons and early US coppers. KG II’s, KG III’s, Liberty Cap, Draped Bust, and the toasty coin variety. Take notice of the small silver button with initials on the backside. It looked like a half reale converted to a button (octagon shaped). This button has incredible character. 6 of the 8 coppers cleaned up well. Repeat visits will be in order.
