Found this in a field that has been farmed since at least the late 1800s, including over 50 years as a dairy farm. I see no markings remaining on it other than a 3, which is about how long it is in inches. I see no insulating material. Each end has curious small holes. I can sink a toothpick into the bigger one. Could this be a spark or glow plug for an early tractor? If so, any ideas on age? I have Googled this without success, and would appreciate any insights. Thanks!

Looks more like an injector or spray tip.

Oxygen acetelene torch cutting tip

Agree with torch tip.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast some people can come up with IDs. Thanks so much for the ID. While I could not find the exact one online, this object does have the features of a torch cutting tip. The "curious" holes and the threaded end with the larger hole are giveaways. No wonder I could not find this item when doing a Google for spark or glow plugs, as it is clearly not one of those. Thanks again. I will mark this query as solved if I can remember how:laughing7: .

it'll work a lot better if you clean and unplug it
