Got out for a couple hours this afternoon. Only dug a modern penny, several spent cartridge casings and some foil, but did find this little fellow!

What did he register on the detector? I think I would keep my distance!

I've only seen one in the wild and it was in colorado out by pagosa springs. Came within 4 or 5 feet and kept going. Great picture!

Yessir! I had my dogs with me when I took the pic. Is why I didn't get a better pic. My female has been "quilled" twice and the male once. It isn't fun holding down your dog and pulling out those suckers without breaking them off in them.
