Is your cable secured to the shaft near the coil, any movement of the cable when you bump it, will chatter.

If was not doing before and not loose and cord bumping near bottom especially there might be a bad wire connection. Check that the connection to pod is flush and tight also. ML will check and replace ifcneeded

that connection at the coil is not removable got a call in with them haven't heard back from them yet.wire is secure

Continue to pursue with ML tech support but in the meantime, make sure it is doing it in all modes and with GB set to 0 in all modes. High GB settings tend to increase coil bump sensitivity such that mere jostling of the coil by shaking it in the air or manipulating the coil cable at the strain relief point before it enters the coil can cause falsing. This is normal (though annoying) behavior. If it is happening regardless of mode or GB setting, you indeed probably have a coil problem.
