I was in tanks, so we had the grease gun .45 cal, not the M16 or mM4..

When we transitioned to the M1....we were testing a tanker version...unofficial called the m16 short...
it was a reworked M16, had a very short stock, ie no stock...a pistol grip version, and had a very short barrel......cant really get a full sized m16 in/out of a tank hatch very well.. I beleive a company called Olympic Arms was making them
it worked well when it worked...not even sure what it was called...
Still amazed me, that with all that tech, we were assigned a .45 grease gun to carry

In combat, I just carried an MP5 that I acquired...

Mine are either broke or well trained/behaved as they haven't done anything evil or bad yet.

Was amazed at the weight difference between the Faux 604 and A2. I used both in the Air Force, but never handled them at the same time.

I've got a line on a Beretta M9 Commercial (Commercial copy of the military M9), and I'm looking hard for a Smith & Wesson M15-4 (38 Special), there were plenty around about year or so ago, but are hard to find now. That will round out the facsimiles of the weapons I carried during my service from 1986 to 2008.

I still have my drop leg holster from Operation Enduring Freedom and my M12 holster from Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
