This person says it's an 8 reale spanish cob from the 1715 fleet. The condition looks really good though and I just have my doubts because it's not certified. Can anyone help me decide on this coin????

Even if it's not from the fleet, I would just be happy if it was real

Good question, it should be close to 27g correct?
.96 ozs or 27.3 grams, it will vary a little but should be very close to 27 grms.

It looks right, price should be like any cob of the period, nothing added because it supposedly came from a certain wreck.

There is no way to know without some kind of provenance on where it came from. There's been a lot of cobs showing up from old collections lately.
