My middle daughter wanted to head up higher to see the seasonal changes going on. We roamed around Central City and walked around the old cemetery. Most who were layed to rest here died around the late 19th century and many children also. Quite a few of these long gone citizens of that era came from Cornwall, England which goes without saying, that this is where many of the hardrock miner's came from during those times. Some of the terminology used in mining even today are words that came from these hardy folks. One fella I noticed came from Beertown, Devonshire England. It was mentioned on his tombstone he had been killed. You have to wonder how it was he met his end.😨

Good pics. Doesn't look like I'm gonna get out and take any fall pics. Too much work.

An old detecting friend found a seated quarter up there somewhere and he swears its got John Gregory's thumbprint on it.
Thanks for the share, Tamrock.

In mineral hall of the Denver museum of science and industry there are some wonderful rather large gold nuggets that were found in the Nevadaville area.

It definitely moves the needle on the spook meter. So many graves within that large grove of Aspen

Thanks for sharing those photo"s! By the beginning of this next weekend we should start to see the Fall colors to show themselves. I am also finally getting things out from the tarps and into the new shed. Need to get that done before we get any snow.
