Made it out for a 3rd and final hunt at this interesting yet frustrating park woods site. Not a single US coin found here, but plenty of 1815-1915 relics. I think the Excelsior button is a CW button from NY. Does anyone have any info on the Hicks Primers tin? I think these were percussion caps. The snowflake button is my favorite from this round.

It sucks that the E.M.I. is hampering the site for you it looks to be a good site.

Another nice hunt Thad. If the site is still producing like that why would it be your final hunt there?

Thx Steve! This is the 3rd 4-5 hour hunt at this site. I detected the last area that I had not hit on Sunday and then did an hour of scouting around to see if there were anymore areas with targets. Just lots of shotgun end stamps. Then the last hour or so I rehit the hot spots. Maybe one spoon handle in the last 2 hours of swinging. Time to move on or return with a new game plan for the EMI. I know there must be old coins in the dirt there, I was not able to pull a single small cent or large cent. Iโ€™ve never experienced a site like this one.

Have you considered that the place may be haunted and the ghosts are protecting their buried money? Whenever your machine goes bonkers, you must be close to money :laughing7:
