I bring all mine to my gun club & they bring em down to the hospitals

Our local club does the same......donates them all to the Ronald McDonald House.

Yep, working on my 5 gallon bucket myself. :)

I bring em to my church, they have a collection bucket there.

I wearum too!I have a outfit just like that.

Well, it is a unique fashion statement...

I have a thong made of them ( not soft)

My cat just chucked cookies after I read that!:laughing9:

DSC00527.webp Too much time on my hands!ha

For informational purposes.... the hospitals collect them and they "buy" time on a dialysis machine for someone. A worthy cause. TTC

I wouldn't wear that to the airport! TSA wouldn't know wether to make you leave it on or take it off!
Probably end up in the baggage compartment!

Sorry I'm only into vintage Pulltabs.

Happy Hunting!

The pulltab redemption for time on dialysis has been explained as a myth by MD Anderson that just seems to carry on. The pull tabs have to be recycled just like other metals and then someone "buys time" on the machines with the proceeds. Heard this last month on the radio by one of their spoke persons. Never could figure out why a few pounds of aluminum would be that valuable until it was explained as a well meaning but unfortunate misunderstanding.

If that was the, case then why the, pull tab why not the whole can wouldnt that make more sence

Why does redeeming aluminum pull tabs for dialysis make any more sense. What would the hospital do with them?
